FEES
Contingency Fee: Every personal injury/medical malpractice case
accepted by Mr. Stone is based on a contingency fee. This agreement
provides for attorney's fees only if a recovery is made in the case. If
no recovery is made, Mr. Stone's legal services are free of charge. As
such, Mr. Stone carefully screens personal injury and medical
malpractice clients seeking his representation.
Expenses such as expert testimony, document preparation, and court
costs are deducted from any award before it is apportioned between the
client Mr. Stone. Contingency fees are as follows: if the case is
settled prior to trial, Mr. Stone's fee is 25% of the recovery. If the
case proceeds to trial, Mr. Stone's fee is 33% of the recovery, unless
otherwise set by statute.
* The above information
does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Clients
must execute written retainer agreements
for such a relationship to be established. If you have
questions involving fee agreements, please call Mr. Stone
